Before Your Puppy Comes Home~!
You're
Excited about Your New Puppy's Arrival. But there is a few things that you should get before the puppy
arrives & that you should know. Bringing a new puppy home can be a stressful time for your new puppy. It will be
in a strange environment away from it's Litter mates & Mother. There will be New People & New Expectations. That's
why it's important to take some time to prepare for your puppy. You'll need to make your house & yard safe
and set rules for yourself & your family about home to care for your puppy. You'll also need to pick up any last-minute
items on your puppy supply list. The more structured you can make this transition, the easier it will be for your puppy to
adapt & please do not wash your puppy the day it arrives as that is just adding stress, recommend waiting 3 days &
make sure the puppy gets very dry & stays away from all & any cold drafts. Just some things that you may want
to consider: First you'll need 2 dishes, we recommend that you get stainless steel food & water bowls as they do not
hold staff germs if washed on a regular basis. You may want a Crate for your puppy to sleep in; this would be his/hers Safe
Place old or new towels for crate bedding. Puppy Pads or Doggie Litter Box if you are adopting a small dog & want
to housebreak them to the Pads or Litter Box. 3 Most Important things your puppy will need: Food, Vitamins & a Veternian;
I recommend Eukanuba Small Breed & NuVet Plus Vitamins, the link is on my Information On Your Puppy Page..The Vitamins
you will need to order 1 week prior to your puppy's arrival. If you do not have this food available please go to my "Information
On Your Puppy Page" where it will tell you what you should look for in a food for your puppy. For More Information Click
On the Eukanuba Link & Don't Forget to Order Your Puppy's NuVet Plus Vitamins.
